        Ewa Majewska

        feminist philosopher and art theorist, Warsaw

      1. Ewa Majewska is a feminist philosopher and art theorist. Since 2003 Majewska has lectured at the Gender Studies in the University of Warsaw, and has worked as adjunct professor at universities of Szczecin and Krakow, Poland. She was a fellow at the Institute for Cultural Inquiry, Berlin, 2014–2016. She held post-docs at the University of Berkeley and University of Orebro. Publications include: Sztuka jako pozór? (2013); and Feminizm jako filozofia społeczna (2009). She has articles published in: e-flux, Signs, Nowa Krytyka, Le Monde Diplomatique (PL), and other journals and volumes. She teaches a seminar on Art and Public Spheres, at the Graduate School of PAN, Warsaw. Ewa Majewska lives and works in Warsaw. [Last updated 2016]
