      1. Wouter Vanstiphout is a historian of architecture and Professor of Design and Politics at the Technical University of Delft, Delft since 2009. Previously he was Visiting Professor of Geography, Landscape & Cities at the Akademie der Bildende Künste, Vienna (2008–2009) and Professor of Architecture and Urban Planning at Technical University, Berlin (2004–2006). Vanstiphout is one of the founders of the Crimson Architectural Historians research collective, Rotterdam. He is also a member of the Reflection team of VROM, Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment, The Hague and serves on the board of SKOR, Foundation Art and Public Space, Amsterdam. Recent publications include: De Collectie, bijzondere stationsgebouwen in Nederland [The Collection, remarkable train station buildings in the Netherlands] (2009) and WiMBY!, Verleden, Heden & Toekomst van een New Town [WiMBY!, Past, Present & Future of a New Town] (2007). Recent exhibitions with Crimson include: Rotterdam Maakbare Stad, International Architecture Biennial Rotterdam, NAi, Netherlands Architecture Institute, Rotterdam, 2009; and WiMBY!, Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam, 2007.
