Two issues of a journal produced with the project Contemporary Arab Representations curated by Catherine David, which aimed to facilitate production, exchange, and circulation of art and cultural production between different parts of the Arab world and beyond. Project included seminars, publications, performances, exhibitions, etc. An important project from the 2000s that looked beyond the ‘West’ and ‘East’ to effect a more open flow of information despite the political tensions and divisions asserted after 9/11.
