  1. Braidotti (director of the Centre for the Humanities, Utrecht University, an FW partner) proposes a nomadic conception of the subject to resist conservative liberal ideology and the demands of ‘techno-capitalism.’ She argues against moral universalism and for a reconfiguration of subjectivity that takes life as its main subject. Such a nomadic subject could, she argues, deal with the tension between reactionary political forces and emancipatory politics.
